The Lawrenceburg Police Department has earned a reputation of excellence among the law enforcement community and the respect of the city we serve. Our officers are highly trained professionals that are committed to the core values of Integrity, Fairness, Respect, Honesty, Courage and Compassion.

Currently, we are staffed with 16 sworn officers, 8 telecommunicators, and administration support staff. The Lawrenceburg Police Department’s approach to the community can be summed up in one word, proactive.  The officers at the Lawrenceburg Police Department actively pursue crime, enforce traffic laws, and address quality of life issues. Officers strive to improve the quality of life in the community by building partnerships that reduce crime, maintain order, enhance police/citizen relationships and create a safe environment while upholding the U.S. Constitution, The Kentucky Revised Statutes of the Commonwealth of Kentucky and Ordinances.

We are committed to establishing partnerships with our citizens, businesses and schools, and being innovative in our community policing strategies.
